About Lindsay Doke
Lindsay Doke has worn many hats in over 30 years in the Mortgage industry. Beginning first as a Residential Mortgage underwriter he worked with various Equity Mortgage Lenders who were sourcing business from Mortgage Brokers. Then he worked as a Commercial Mortgage Junior Negotiator for a large insurance Company. After this he spent time as both a Residential and Commercial Real Estate Appraiser. Then for the next 26 years he was a Residential Mortgage Specialist working first for a large Insurance company and then later for 2 large banks. During this time, he became an expert in understanding the banking, credit and investment needs of his customers and aligned the “right” mortgage to each client.
Lindsay applies his expertise to help buyers from all stages of life and backgrounds break into the real estate market, even under the most challenging financial circumstances. He also has extensive knowledge and planning, to help you switch your mortgage if you are looking at favourable options in the mortgage market place. He has assisted in providing both reverse mortgages as well as mortgages and solutions for clients with bruised credit . A growing part of his business is assisting the self employed sector.
As a mortgage agent with Mountainview Mortgage, Lindsey is a part of a team that has been recognized as one of the top Mortgage brokerage teams from 2018 to present. Lindsay has a Honors degree from York University in Urban Planning. Lindsay is growing his “clients for life” and has access to other business professionals who can provide assistance and advice, including real estate, investment, legal and accounting.
Lindsay’s extracurricular activities- outside of the office include being a hockey dad, spending time with his wife and 3 sons along with being a member of a local Business Networking Group in Georgetown. He believes in giving back to the community and in the past this included volunteering for Halton Food For Thought raising monies by co-hosting an annual Golf Tournament

It was a pleasure to work with Lindsay. As a first time home buyer he was very helpful and explained the entire process in detail. Once we were comfortable to move forward he got us the best rates. The lender proved difficult to work with and was taking a very long time. Given we were approaching the 1 week deadline, I asked him if we could go with another lender. And to my surprise, Lindsay had pre-emptively spoken to another lender and had a soft approval already. We gave him the go ahead and the approval was done in less than 24 hours. I can't say enough to explain how critical a role he played. What sets him apart (and I spoke to a bunch of brokers) are not just the best rates but the care and thought he gives to his client's situation which is very hard to quantify. Going forward for any mortgages I need or have to refer someone, Lindsay is my guy.
